As director of ssark medialab, a digital R&D environment within Scheiwiller Svensson Architects, I was very happy to organize this event with Dr Robert Aish, developer of GenerativeComponents at Bentley, now Director of Software Development at Autodesk. The seminar was part of a new initiative to open up the discussion of tools and techniques to our colleagues at other practices and within academia. We were fortunate to catch Dr Aish as he was visiting Stockholm, and we received an amazing response from the cirka 30 practices that were invited.

Each participating firm presented a few slides with issues of relevance to them today, as a background for the presentation by AIsh and the concluding discussion. We managed to have more than 30 presentations in cirka 1.5 hours, and I am extremely happy with the openes of each participant to put forward concerns and findings to everyone.

My only personal loss was that I missed the book release at KTH-A the same evening, presenting the recent AKAD book as well as the first Servo Monograph (featuring Krets projects). I knwo that some of our visitors, in particular our AA students, did manage to attend both.

This will be followed with more events, if you did not participate and would like to know more, please contact me. For those already in the loop, in the words of Dr Robert Aish, watch this space!
