As part o fthe AA dip16 trip, Sofia and Örjan gave two presentations in the Nordstiernan seminar space at IndEk.
Sofia presetned the PIEp project, and ideas around integrated product development. There were many interesting aspects, including when “creative” work is actually done within this development. Sofia presented formalized processes, and I very much look froward to hear more of these in the near future. Our students brought up issues around open source development, which seems to be not really integrated in this resaerch so far.
Örjan presented toughts on communicaiton within temporary project organizations, including research done by people from the Project Communication department. Of particular interest to me were issues of emergent organizations, the multi project participant, practical double standards (in which there is a formal agreement on certain methods, and an informal silent agreement that these may not be fulfilled) and the importance of documenting process. Which this blog is really about.
